Key combinations

As a auto driver.
I always use shift. I only let go to let the car shift gears.
I am used to do that on the sound of the engine.

Some of my fav key combinations are:
Shift, spacebar, arrow down
=full throttle, handbrake and normal brake

The car now is like a rock - kind like how a ai car acts.


Another key combination
Push a car to the wall - press handbrake real fast once. Makes the car flip more easily


When taking the last corner i use the handbrake a lot.
Shift and handbrake
To get the car to drift and to correct speed when a i drift to far.

The only way to make real short and fast corners is the same.
Shift to get a burst of speed and then handbrake and turn.

What combinations do u guys use? And for what effect?

Probably one of my favorite moves (and Muk is good at this too) is the spin move when someone is taking out the back end near a wall. Here's how it works (for me). This especially works well on the first curve.

If someone hits you from behind on the left side and drives you towards the wall, steer hard left using the handbrake and try to spin completely around. As you spin half way you need to shift into reverse to keep your momentum going. As you continue to spin you then shift back into first which will drive your opponent into the wall with the side of your car and (hopefully) flip them while you keep going. If you don't time it right, chances are you will flip along with your opponent. It's a thing of beauty when it works.
