I'm thinking about flying out to Amsterdam and watching him do it. Seriously, I think I would learn more if I watched him using his keyboard. Now that would be something. Maybe someone shoot some vid. with their flying fingers.

Check out this technique - apparently macs have a built-in keyboard display on which you can see what keys are being pressed.

I'm using standard manual config:
shift = full throttle
A = shift up
Z = shift down
CMD = look behind
X = horn
Up Arrow = gas
Down Arrow = brake
Space Bar = hand brake
Left/Right Arrows = steering

No need to fly to Amsterdam. But if you want to, you are more than welcome. I have put a video on YouTube with the build-in keyboard. Although running SnapzPro, Redline and a keyboard, makes running fast not very easy but I did beat the 37 barrier.
I use the standard controls:
A -> gear up
Z -> gear down
Space -> handbrake
Arrow keys -> left, right and normal break
Command key -> looking backwards
shift -> Full trottle
