Just in case anyone had any ideas...

Proof: your video game driving skills don't apply in real life

but... but where's the keyboard?

More seriously, I think playing redline has definitely given me an enhanced awareness of the cars around me. I have become a "reckless driver" in real life.

I think redline has helped my real life driving quite a bit actually. And as long as other cars aren't trying to crash into me, I am perfectly comfortable driving in first person view.

A couple times I've had to suppress urges to wreck passing mini's.

I have to stop myself from wanting to swerve into a mini, thank god cars don't keyboard driven controls yet.

Speaking of video driving skills vs reality...

Who here can recall what game "Cunning Stunt Bonus!" is from? All one word, starts with "Carma"...

I still have to resist the urge to not do a barrelroll off of a empty car carrier tractor trailer to kill pedestrians in a "Artistic Bonus!" way.

If you don't get it, you had to be there. Search for "Carmageddon"

Gawd! It must be awful to leave the driving to someone else. But then... enjoy the ride.
